In 1930 there were 0ne and a half million cars on UK roads and 7000 people were killed in road traffic accidents.
FOR LGV AND PCV DRIVERS< - From September 2008, all PCV drivers will have to undergo 35 hours training, in every 5 year period. From September 2009, all LGV drivers will have to complete the same training. This is an EU directive and the Driving Standards Agency will be administering the training. Full details in due course.
